Stockmen’s
Association seeking applicants for executive job
The North Dakota Stockmen’s
Association (NDSA) Executive Vice President Search Committee is now accepting
applications for the position that will be opening soon.
Committee members met April 30 to
finalize the job description and set a timeline to find a qualified replacement
for Wade Moser, who will retire in December after 26 years at the helm of the
organization.
Applicants must have a livestock
production background and a strong understanding of the state and national beef
industry. They must also possess strong leadership, administrative, financial
and budgeting skills and public relations expertise.
The NDSA executive vice president
supervises the organization’s staff, programs and
activities; serves as its chief lobbyist; maintains its financial records;
develops an annual budget; records all meeting proceedings; and represents the
organization and its policies, among other duties.
The position comes with a
competitive salary (commensurate with training and experience), a 401K
retirement program, paid vacation, health insurance benefits and an association
vehicle.

The search committee intends to
