MEMORIAL DAY
Memorial Day, formally known as Decoration Day, commememorates all men & women who have died in military service in the United States.
Remember those who have
made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we all enjoy today.
"A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself."
• It is traditional to fly the U.S. flag at half-mast from dawn until noon on Memorial Day.
• Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries.

The NDSA and the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Animal Sciences Department are looking for your most memorable stories of stewardship.
Raising beef requires the use of natural resources like land, water and energy.
Today, farmers and ranchers raise more beef using fewer natural resources including water than ever before.

The Expo is held in conjunction with the Western Star Junior Heifer Classic at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds.
Entries must be postmarked by June 1.
