Brand Recording
The North Dakota Stockmen's Association has been recording brands since 1993 when the brand program transferred from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture.

There are over 22,000 brands recorded in North Dakota. Brands are registered for cattle horses, mules, buffalo, swine and sheep.

Renewal Period
All current brands will expire Jan. 1, 2016.  Renewal notices will be sent 6 months prior to the expiration date.
 
If you have a change of address, notify the North Dakota Stockmen's Association office to ensure delivery.
