The Seedstock Council works to promote the purebred cattle industry in North Dakota through the education of purebred producers and their customers through planned programs, printed information, legislation and other feasible means, including the All Breeds Cattle Tour, the North Dakota Junior Beef Expo, Youth Fitting and Showmanship Contest and the North Dakota Cattle Directory.  The Seedstock Council is made up of representatives of each of the state's 13 cattle breed associations.
