Seedstock Council Webinar

2023 Seedstock Council Webinar

In vitro embryo production method is a modern reproductive technology that has gained considerable traction in the cattle industry. The technology has improved to such a level that it has become a very practical and competitive reproductive tool with numerous applications for seedstock and commercial operations alike.

The NDSA’s Seedstock Council invited producers to a free virtual webinar at 6:30 p.m. CT, Thursday, Nov. 16., to learn more about in vitro. The session was led by Miles Morris, an embryo technician for Bovagen, Dr. Shantille Kruse, director of Boviteq business development, and Dr. Beth Carlson, North Dakota deputy state veterinarian. Carlson will discuss changes to the Johne’s Disease Testing Program, utilized largely with seedstock producers across the state.

The NDSA Seedstock Council works to promote the seedstock industry in North Dakota through education of both seedstock producers and their customers through planned programs, printed information, legislation and any other feasible means.
